Archive Component - Prices

There are three types of licenses.
Smaller Updates, Extensions and Bugfixes are free.
Major Updates have to be bought.
Customers will get a discount of 50% on later versions.

Free License The "Free License" does not require an authorization code, but the access to certain methods and classes in the Archive Component is restricted. (read more here...)	--,--
Server License A "Server License" gives you the right to install Archive Component on a single computer or server. (read more here...)	120 Euro incl. tax
Distribution License A "Distribution License" gives you the right to distribute Archive Component along with your software. (read more here...)	250 Euro incl. tax

The "Free License" does not require an authorization code, but the access to certain methods and classes in the Archive Component is restricted, which means that archived files must not exceed 100 KB as well as comments will be added to the archived files and to the archives itself.

You are allowed to install the Archive Component on one or more computers for testing. Distribution and usage for production are not allowed.

A "Server License" enables access to all classes, methods, properties etc. in the Archive Component. It gives you the right to:

• Install Archive Component on a single computer on which one or more applications have been loaded and execute Archive Component in the memory space of that computer so that one or more users may have access to it.
• Install and execute Archive Component for development on one (1) computer.

A "Distribution License" enables access to all classes, methods, properties etc. in the Archive Component. Under this license form you are entitled to redistribute the application itself (but not accompanying the documentation) to others within and outside your organization, as long as your program:

• Does not directly expose Archive Componenting interface.
• Is not a derivative work.
• Provides a specific functionality substantially different from that of Archive Component in and of itself.
• Is not merely an interface to Archive Component-ability of Archive Component.

You are only authorized to redistribute to any computer, whether a server or a desktop, with your application those files expressly listed in the section "Redistributing files" in the "Programmers Reference". You must redistribute the files with your own application's installer and not with Archive Component’s installer.

A single "Distribution License" gives you the right to:

• Redistribute Archive Component along with one single application. You must purchase a separate "Distribution License" for each application, which you create, that uses Archive Component.
• Install and execute Archive Component for development on two (2) computers.

You must place into any copyright notices in your application and into your accompanying documentation the following text: "Portions Copyright © 2005, C14Software".
